The Seabreeze Amusement Park
Seabreeze is in upper east Irondequoit, where Irondequoit Bay empties into Lake Ontario. It opened on August 5, 1879, and, as indicated by the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA), it is the twelfth-most oldest working entertainment park on the planet (fourth-most established in the United States).
Its most commended ride is the Jack Rabbit, an “out and back” thrill ride, and the fourth-oldest operating working exciting ride on the planet (opened 1920).
It is claimed and worked by the Norris family, a large number of whom lived on the property for a long time.
